WILLIAM E. COTTLE SCHOOL PROFILE

William E. Cottle Elementary School (WEC) is located approximately 25 minutes north of midtown Manhattan in Eastchester, New York. WEC is part of the Tuckahoe Union Free School District (TUFSD), which includes Bronxville Manor, Chester Heights, Eastchester, and Tuckahoe. Over 550 students are enrolled in the Kindergarten through Fifth Grade.

WEC is committed to meeting the needs of every student. We work closely with teachers, parents, and students to provide a rich learning environment. Our programs and instructional practices provide students with skills and strategies that allow them to progress academically, emotionally and socially, and help them to learn and become good citizens throughout their years in school. We are preparing our youth to become life-long learners. We are preparing tomorrow's leaders one day at a time. Our motto is: Preparing Every Student for Excellence.

School begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m.  Walkers arrive at the same time as bus students, prior to 8:30 a.m.
